Ok......what gives

So I go through my daily routines, you know, wake up and do the morning thing. Go in to work and then check NDNation.com to see the latest updated Notre Dame news. All I read about is how inexperienced the Purdue team is.

Ok, so I know not to look too deep into this, but c'mon, how do you expect me not too. All I can read about is how Notre Dame's hopes rides on the shoulders of Dayne Crist and he has to learn on the go quickly. Look at Purdue, new faces on the offensive line (their starting right tackle has only been an offensive tackle for three weeks!), new unproven QB (Marve sat out last year and had a miserable frosh year at Miami) new receiving core (except for Smith) and no experienced RB (Bolding not due back till second half of season). That is a lot to overcome. Sure they get most of their front 7 back, but against 3/4/5 wide sets, you can't have a front 7. And they have a new secondary that is inexperienced.

I hate to say this several days before the game but I'm feeling less and less worried about winning the game and more worried about not hurting anyone in a big big win. Playing an entire mentally strong game against a team that just isn't experienced enough to keep it close. That's what I'm nervous about: Sloppy play that results in someone getting injured.

'Nough said!
